ART101 Studio is located in Fortitude Valley's leafy James Street precinct. Discover a new passion and join one of our informal and relaxed art classes today. With a maximum of 8 students per session, we promise a generous dose of individual attention in our art classes to keep you feeling confident and productive while you paint your chosen topic. 'One size does not fit all' and ART101 offers a unique approach tailored to the individual - you choose what you want to paint or draw. CHILDREN'S ART CLASSES CHILDREN'S SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS CHILDREN'S BIRTHDAY PARTIES Children just love getting messy, creating and learning - at ART101 they can do all of this and more! Our weekly children's art classes are about 'controlled creative chaos' where budding artists explore all things art with gentle guidance from our tutors. The focus is on basic painting techniques, improving brush control, understanding colour as well as drawing and modelling with clay. We are committed to the fun factor so that the children do not see creativity as a chore. Our weekly Children's Art Classes Include: Acrylic Painting Lessons Watercolour Painting Lessons Clay Modelling Lessons Collage Classes Drawing Classes and so much more The classes are run during each school term in a block format and we welcome studio visits before booking for the term. Parents are encouraged to stay and get involved from time to time and students eagerly update parents on their own progress. Tutors hold a current Blue Card from The Commission for Children and Young People.
