The school has a dedicated staff focusing on quality teaching and learning promoting academic and social success. It is recognised for its outstanding student welfare and Vocational Education and Training programs. The school has a Support Unit consisting of an Im class and 3 Autism classes. There is a 30% Language Background Other Than English (LBOTE) and 5% Aboriginal student population. The school offers student entry into Eager To Learn Classes in Years 7 and 8.
